Cafe Roma Martini

I was given a bottle of Sambuca Black this last Christmas.  I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it.  I like the flavor well enough.  I used to enjoy a shot of it in my after dinner coffee, but these days I get up pretty early in the morning and I don’t want anything disrupting my sleep.  So, I did some digging and came up with this little number.  It’s tasty and versatile and won’t knock you on your ass.  The three coffee beans signify health, happiness, and prosperity.

The Stuff You Need:

For each cocktail:

2 ounces Sambuca (White or black is fine)

2 ounces cold brewed coffee

2 ounces half & half (you can use cream, milk, soy or almond milk)

3 coffee beans

Ice

Equipment:  Cocktail shaker, martini glasses

Here's How It's Done:

  1. Measure out the liquor, coffee, and cream and pour over ice in the shaker.
  2. Close the shaker and shake the cocktail until well combined.
  3. Pour cocktail and ice gently into martini glass.
  4. garnish with 3 coffee beans and enjoy.
